Hey folks, StoryRise is back come January 15, 2011. We’ll be using the mutli-purpose room at the “American Sports Centers Avondale” – brand new facility in Avondale, AZ. Our theme will be “Stories of Games and Sports.” For location, check out the map here http://ascavondale.com/?page_id=271

StoryRise is an evening of storytelling for adults, 7-8PM, held the third Saturday of every month. Come enjoy great storytelling, maybe a beer or wine or a fun meal. Watch for more details very soon.

StoryRise returns to the West Valley (Avondale Arizona) in 2011. Scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of every month, the first four dates will be:

The next StoryRise Event will be at the
Glendale Main Library Coffee Shop area run by Perfetto de Cafe.
Show begins at 7PM but arrive early to buy a drink and settle in.

The library address is 5959 West Brown Street and is one block south of the intersection of 59th Avenue and Peoria. There’s a traffic light at Brown and the library is on the southwest corner. Turn west on Brown and then left into the main parking lot. Enter through the main doors by the coffee shop as all others will be locked. The start time 7 pm remains the same but the door will be opened at 6:30 so you can get settled.

This is considered an “Afterhours” program at the library meaning the library will not be accessible and library managers as well as security will be in attendance.

Stephanie the owner of the cafe is pulling out all stops for this event and is encouraging people to make reservations for table seating. There will be chair groupings as well but we expect the table seating will go pretty fast. Stephanie’s full crew will be on hand to take orders for coffee drinks and sandwiches as well as gelato and cheesecake desserts. You can also pre-order by calling 602-380-3951. The same number works for table reservations.

Please keep in mind that this is an event designed for adult listeners and is not a suitable program for children under the age of 12

So come sit back and relax and have some of the best coffee in the valley and enjoy an evening of stories set around a musical theme. Oh and if you have a KAZOO bring it along…you just never know what might happen.
